I'm posting from my iPod touch from Paris.
so please forgive me if my post is short. We arrived yesterday afternoon and explored the Arc de Triomphe. Wow, is it huge! Then last night we had an amazing dinner at a place off the beaten path called Jacques Cagna, named after the chef. Dinner began at 9pm. Time is relative right? Because we are just doing things and other than what our two watches tell us there is no way to tell. My body is a little sore from all the walking, but I am not suffering.
Tonight we are eating at a bistro that has a view of the Tour Eiffel. I have ALWAYS wanted to go up into the tower and I hope today or tonight we will. Wee!
Oh, today is Labor Day in France so most places are closed, especially the museums. We are going to go sit on one of those open topped double decker buses again and spend a couple of hours being driven around Paris. Doesn't that sound fun? It does to me.
Caterina in Paris!

fun?! YES! it sure does!
Isn't the Arc de Triomphe huge? That is just what we thought when there, that goes for a lot in Paris!
dinner at 9pm sounds so romantic for some reason. ;-)
so glad you are having such a wonderful time! xooxo

Oh man!!! I am sooooo jealous of your trip! Have been to UK and Italy but not France and am aching to see the Gothic cathedrals there! Taught AP art history and know just a smidgen of architecture and those places are awesome!
Did you know the Eiffel Tower was pre-fab? There's a smidgen for you!
